The Bid Manager/ Team of the Year category honors a bid manager or team that has the skills to prepare and submit a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. The award is for the Bid manager or staff within a team (who does not have to be a solicitor but must be an employee of the submitting firm) who is responsible for creating and overseeing the bid: a persuasive proposal – on behalf of their law firm to gain a business contract for the provision of legal services.
The criterion set out in the foregoing paragraph should be reflected in submissions and such submissions should also refer to the following:
- Bid Strategy and Planning information
- Evidence of collaboration and teamwork
- The entrant should also include in their submission the approx. size of the successful bid/s they have won and disclose and if they wish include any of the public tenders they have won.
A submission in this category may (but it is not absolutely necessary to do so) focus on a single case determined since April 2023 that may be characterised as being of significance in the legal ‘landscape’ of Ireland
