TERMS, CONDITIONS, CONSENTS & WARRANTIES

1. GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Submission Process: Entries can be submitted through our Awards Management System, Openwater, by prospective awards recipients or approved agents acting at their request. Entrants may submit to multiple categories where relevant.
  • Third-Party Nominations: Nominations can be submitted by a third party, the Judging Panel, or the Awards Organizers via our Nomination Form. Nominees will then be contacted and invited to submit an official entry through Openwater.
  • Compliance & Judging: Entries that do not comply with category criteria may be disqualified. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. All submitted materials will be kept strictly confidential by the judges.
  • Eligibility: All entrants must have registered practices on the island of Ireland.

2. ENTRY COSTS & THE FINALIST COMMITMENT

  • Entry Costs: There is absolutely no cost to submit a nomination, enter your firm, or put forward individual lawyers for consideration. The judging process is based entirely on merit and market impact.
  • The Finalist Commitment: While entering is free, shortlisted finalists are required to have at least one representative in attendance at the gala ceremony. Finalists must purchase at least one ticket (either a general admission ticket, or a student ticket if applicable) to fulfill this commitment.

3. TICKET CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  • In the event of a cancellation, any refund is entirely at the Organizers’ discretion.
  • Refunds on entries will only be considered where a minimum of 7 days’ advanced notice is given prior to the Event.
