The Sports Lawyer of the Year Award honours a law firm, team or lawyer who has demonstrated excellence in the provision of legal services in the context of the sports law during recent times and, in particular, since June 2022.

The criterion set out in the foregoing paragraph should be reflected in submissions and such submissions should also refer to the following:

• Experience and expertise in sports law
• Providing education in sports law
• Acting for or against any sporting bodies with particular reference to important decisions or precedents.
