The criteria set out in the foregoing paragraph should be reflected in submissions and such submissions should also refer to the following:

  • Academic Excellence: Judges will evaluate the quality of teaching, research output, and academic achievements of the institution, considering factors such as faculty credentials, student performance, and publications.
  • Student Support and Engagement: The extent to which the law school fosters a supportive and engaging learning environment, offering resources, mentorship programs, and extracurricular opportunities that enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Innovative Teaching Methods: Recognition will be given to institutions that demonstrate creativity and effectiveness in their teaching approaches, incorporating innovative technologies, experiential learning, and practical training to prepare students for real-world legal practice.
  • Industry Collaboration and Partnerships: The extent to which the law school collaborates with legal practitioners, industry experts, and other educational institutions to enrich the educational experience, promote professional development, and facilitate, where possible, networking opportunities for students.
