Ireland's first-ever awards ceremony to celebrate generations of Irish families that work together has just been launched by Today FM Presenter Matt Cooper. The 2019 Energia Family Business Awards take place in the Round Room at the Mansion House on the 24th of May 2019. It's the first year of the event which aims to acknowledge family-run businesses from homegrown to established and internationally run. Recent research shows family companies are the backbone of the Irish economy and that they remain optimistic about their future.
