The Irish Institute of Legal Executives is the professional body representing Registered Legal Executives in Ireland, promoting high standards of professionalism, education and ethical practice within the profession. The Institute plays a key role in supporting its members through advocacy, training and continued professional development.
The affairs of the Institute are directed by a Council comprising elected members, who represent the interests of the membership and oversee the strategic direction of the organisation. Members of the Institute elect the Council at the Annual General Meeting, ensuring transparent and democratic governance. Each newly elected Council appoints the President of the Institute and its Officers, who are responsible for leading the Institute and advancing its objectives on behalf of members nationwide.
