Arran Dowling-Hussey, Barrister, Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Mediator

Arran Dowling-Hussey is a practising barrister who also works as an arbitrator, adjudicator and mediator. He is based at the Law Library in Dublin and is a tenant at  4–5 Gray’s Inn Square in London and the Chambers of James Corbett KC in Jersey. His practice spans a broad range of areas, including construction law, compulsory purchase order law, and arbitration and dispute resolution.

Arran served as Trustee of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators for the Ireland Region from 2017 to 2024 and currently is a member of the Council of the Society of Construction Law and the Council of the European Society of Construction Law. He is actively involved in the development of alternative dispute resolution, regularly publishing commentary and delivering professional training in this field. In addition, he lectures part-time on the LL.M in construction and arbitration law at Robert Gordon University and is an Adjunct Professor of Law at University College Cork.
