Aaron McKenna, former President of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association
Aaron commenced his legal career in 2001 as a trainee solicitor with O’Mara Geraghty McCourt Solicitors, where he gained extensive experience in Civil Litigation and Employment Law under the mentorship of James McCourt, now a Circuit Court Judge, and Ciarán O’Mara. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and, in 2009, established his own practice. His principal office is based in Ashbourne, County Meath, with a branch office in Dublin 2.
Aaron has demonstrated longstanding commitment to professional representation and leadership within the legal community. He was elected to the Council of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association in 2005, chaired its Litigation Committee for several years, and served as President of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association in 2015.
He further contributed to the profession through six years of service on the Council of the Law Society of Ireland, where he was an active member of the Practice and Regulation Committee, the Insurance Committee, and the Family Law Committee.
Aaron’s principal areas of practice are Civil Litigation and Family Law, where he is recognised for his practical expertise, client-focused approach, and dedication to upholding high professional standards.
